June 1-3 was Arts Fest in downtown Iowa City. Dan and I ventured down Saturday evening for dinner at Graze and checked out all the art booths. It was our first time hiring a babysitter to watch our children for an evening out. We took the family down Sunday afternoon after nap. Sylvia and Eric got their faces painted, touched a giant snake and played on the playground. Drake mostly slept. After three face painting attempts, Eric ended up with this smiley face. He wouldn't sit still for the rainbow or star that he requested.
