The sandbox has been a big hit with Sylvia since Dan built it last summer. I wasn't sure how well Eric would do playing in it because he puts everything in his mouth. However, I've been impressed that he's only tried to eat the sand a few times. Otherwise he just enjoys crawling in and out of the sandbox and trying to scoop sand into buckets.

Dan and Sylvia have done a lot of planting this spring. They started some coleus and cyprus vine from seed. Sylvia now has her own potted plant in her room. We also have a small container garden with beans, carrots, tomato, and basil. I love the grin on her face as she checks out her basil. She keeps saying, "Why does daddy know everything about plants?"

Every once in awhile, Sylvia spots her Halloween costumes in the closet and wants to dress up. She was a bear last October and for most of the evening this particular day.

No matter how hard we have tried over the last five years to remove rocks from our property there are still a few here and there. Sylvia loves to play with the ones on the side of of our house. She spent a few days filling up her wagon, pulling them around, and leaving them in what seemed like random places on our front walk and driveway.

Eric has been walking around for a couple of months now. He keeps his hands up in the air like this most of the time which I guess Dan used to do as well.
