Eric's Preschool Buddy

Eric got to bring home the second preschool buddy and once again he named him Alex.  The buddy bags have been one of Eric's favorite preschool activities.  Before bringing "Alex" home with us, I made sure Eric knew that he belonged to Mrs. Fink and had him thank her for letting us borrow him.  I think this helped with the fact that we had to return him to preschool a few days later.

Eric was one of the first preschoolers to bring home the class buddy.  He was so excited to have him all week and was more than a little concerned when the next child got a turn with the buddy.  It was a little difficult to explain that the buddy belonged to Mrs. Fink and she had let Eric borrow it.  He was pretty sure it was his and he wasn't too keen on lending it to his friends.

Bearilynn

Sylvia got to be the first student to take the buddy home from preschool and she was very excited about it.  It took her quite a while to come up with a name before settling on Bearilynn.  She also considered Bearyl which Dan and I liked. 

 

What did you do with the buddy?

Play games and celebrate her birthday. Went downtown on the bus and played on the playground.

Where did the buddy sleep?

In my bed with me at nighttime.

What did the buddy eat at your house?

He ate pizza at a restaurant downtown. Happy Birthday Grandpa cake.

Did the Buddy go anywhere special with you?

Downtown on the playground. Grandpa and Grandma's house for a birthday.

 

 

 

Thornd

Sylvia was very excited to bring home the second class pet. She knew there were two and had started asking when it would be her turn to bring home the monkey.

Buddy's Name:  Thornd

What did you do with the buddy?  I just played with him.  He rode on my shoulders.

Where did the buddy sleep?  In the living room and in my bed.

What did the buddy eat at your house?  Hotdogs, macaroni and cheese and cheesecake because it was daddy's birthday.  Scrambled eggs, muffins and coffee.

Did the buddy go anywhere special with you?  Soccer and Nana and Papa's house.
